The heart of our global business

Since 1979, the Bavarian town of Postbauer-Heng has been home to Bock 1 GmbH & Co. KG and thus the head-quarter of the Group of companies. Successively, we built up our know-how and expanded our competences. In the meantime, in addition to the initial plastics processing, development & prototype construction, design & mold making, the processing of polyurethane and aluminium, assembly & logistics as well as quality assurance are also part of our on-site services. Not surprisingly, we cover the comprehensive BOCK range of services here. Likewise, we benefit from the international network we have built up with our worldwide locations in 4 countries.

01Development & Prototype construction

Our in-house development department works with the latest technology. Digital data and drawings, simulations and collaboration with the most renowned international designers bring both functionality and aesthetics to our customers' orders. Through special procedures, we also create prototypes true to the original of the desired component during and after the development phase.

02 Design & mold making

Self-manufactured tools and maximum independence: With the design and mold making departments, we enable fast implementation, great flexibility, short response times for tool changes and high planning reliability. Downtimes are virtually impossible thanks to our in-house repair workshop and a 24-hour emergency service.

03 Production

Injection molding machines with a closing force of 50 t to 2,000 t mold high-quality components for the office chair and office furniture industry from plastic. With over 50 years of experience, we proudly count plastics processing among our core competencies. In polyurethane processing, we foam around manufactured components made of wood, plastic and steel with carefully selected molded foam. We also process and finish aluminium for optimal solutions in the office furniture sector and industry.

04Assembly & logistics

The requirements profile of a logistics concept also includes assembly. Packaging size, dispatch route, customer assembly options or sustainability - these and many other factors must be taken into account in order to get the end product to the customer safely and on time.

05Quality assurance

The international standards force a versatile and diverse quality assurance. Furthermore, we demand of ourselves to always select first-class materials and to accompany all subsequent production steps with careful controls. Our way of quality assurance has been confirmed in many ways. We are worldwide certified with IATF 16949, DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001.
