BOCK supports the "Repair Café"
Furniture or electrical appliances broken? A tear in your jeans or the children's toys have been damaged? Throwing away is the first option for many people. But that doesn't have to be the case! Because items can often be repaired and given a second life. For example in a ‘Repair Café’.
‘Repair Cafés’ are voluntary meetings where you can repair your broken items together with an expert - and thus make an important contribution to a sustainable future. Raw materials and energy are saved, as well as the CO2 emissions that are avoided when producing new items. What's more, repairing in a community and in a social setting is simply fun!
We at BOCK think the idea behind the ‘Repair Cafés’ is simply great and even better: the NETlife association is currently in the process of opening a ‘Repair Café’ in Postbauer-Heng. We are therefore particularly pleased to be able to support the organisation in equipping the workshop space and wish them every success with the opening and lots of fun repairing things together!
