"Welcome to Bock!" is the motto for sixteen new trainees today, Wednesday. The management and the entire company warmly welcomes the new generation to the company and wishes them every success as they start their careers.
For sixteen trainees, Wednesday, September 1, 2021 marks the start of their vocational training at Bock 1 GmbH & Co. KG and thus a new phase in their lives: In the coming 3 to 3.5 years, the new colleagues will be trained according to the most modern standards in a total of nine apprenticed professions. These are, in detail, toolmaker in combined studies, electronics technician, industrial clerk, industrial mechanic, IT application developer, IT system administrator, technical product designer, process mechanic and media designer (each m/f/d). In the course of their apprenticeship, the trainees gain deep insights into the most diverse departments at BOCK, in addition to production and product development, for example, also in purchasing and human resources.
Right at the start of the apprenticeship, there is a two-day introductory program with a detailed presentation of the company and the management, as well as the contact persons in the personnel department, the works council and the apprentice representatives. In addition, there are the legally required safety briefings, information on IT security and the obligatory rules on infection protection. A tour of the company premises and a workshop in which the new colleagues learn about the BOCK product range in detail complete the program.
As one of the largest employers in the region, BOCK focuses on traditional training: Despite its international orientation, the medium-sized family business consciously relies on its local roots and promotes its employees from the very first minute - which is reflected in a high takeover rate for years.
