For eleven new trainees, their professional life begins today, Tuesday - the management and the entire BOCK company welcomes the new generation and wishes them every success.
A new stage of life, many new impressions and even more new things to learn: For ten apprentices and one student of the Bock Group the vocational training at Bock 1 GmbH & Co. KG. Over the next 3 to 3.5 years, the new employees will be trained according to the latest standards in a total of eight different professions (mechanical engineering, toolmaker, technical model maker, technical product designer, industrial business management assistant, technical product designer, process mechanic and industrial mechanic, all m/f). During their apprenticeship, they will gain a deep insight into the various departments at BOCK: in addition to production and product development, for example, they will also gain experience in marketing and human resources.
Right at the start of the apprenticeship there is a two-day introductory program with a detailed introduction to the company and the management, as well as the contact persons in the human resources department, the works council and the apprentices' representatives. At least as important are the legally required safety instructions, just like IT security and the rules for infection protection which will be mandatory in 2020 - safety for employees is the top priority at BOCK. The introductory program also includes a tour of the company premises and a first seminar where the new colleagues get to know BOCK and its product range in detail.
Professional training is a top priority at BOCK: As one of the largest employers in the region, the company, despite its international orientation, consciously focuses on its local roots and encourages its employees from the very first minute - which is reflected in a high rate of takeovers that has been high for years.
